Vietnam Visa Fees for Indian Applicants

A transparent explanation of the different costs that may arise, what should be confirmed before payment and which fees do not control the decision.

Understand the price before paying

“Vietnam visa fee” can refer to more than one charge

The official application fee belongs to the government route. A private consultant may charge separately for an agreed service such as data preparation, document organisation or review. Flights, hotels, photographs and other travel arrangements are different expenses again.

These amounts should be identified separately. We do not publish one permanent all-inclusive figure because government charges, exchange rates, service scope and payment methods can change. Ask for the current government amount, the exact private service included and the applicable refund terms before proceeding.

Payment cannot buy an official decision

No private fee guarantees approval, a faster government result, a particular validity period or permission to enter Vietnam.

Vietnam visa fee FAQs

What makes up the total Vietnam visa cost?

The total may include an official government fee, any separately agreed private consultancy charge and travel-preparation expenses. These should never be presented as one unexplained amount.

Is the government e‑Visa fee refundable after refusal?

The Vietnam Immigration Department states that its e‑Visa fee is not refunded if an application is refused. Confirm the current official payment terms before paying.

Why does this page not publish one permanent fee amount?

Government charges, exchange rates, payment methods and service scope can change. We prefer confirming the current official charge and any private fee before work begins rather than leaving an outdated price online.

Does paying more guarantee approval or faster processing?

No. A higher private charge cannot guarantee approval or control official processing. Be cautious with anyone promising a visa outcome or government timeline for an extra payment.

Should I keep payment records?

Yes. Retain the application reference and payment acknowledgement associated with the official submission, together with any clear invoice for private services.
